Happy New Year!

Well it has been a long time again since I have last posted. Keeping us with 4 energized kids takes all I have and more. We had a fabulous Christmas with the Kids and thankfully Eddie was home with us for 2 weeks. I am getting things ready for the boys to return to school and me and the twins to get our schedules back. This break has been eventful for us I under went a minor surgical procedure and hopefully it will solve all of my girl problems. Eddie was a huge help in taking care of all 4 and taking them back and forth to the Dr. while I recovered. My great BFF was also wonderful she brought Dinner over the first night and even took the boys to the movies the next day! Thanks Nichols for all of you help we appreciate it so much! So I am geared up to Organize our house as one of my many resolutions. I am going to start with the laundry room and work my way through every closet and then every cabinet until I am finished. We have been in our house for 9 1/2 years and I am sure there is lots of stuff that I need to get rid of.
Happy NEW YEAR!

Tearing up but Happy!

I think I was okay up until this point I was just looking at my one true media videos that I have created of all of the boys First Days of school and it makes me so sad that another year is upon us. My eyes are tearing up thinking that I am going to send my sweet baby boy Carter to Kindergarten in the morning. It was just like yesterday that he was born he has been a mommies boy for so long. I have spent the past 5 1/2 years with him watching him grow and change and I knew this day was coming and I have been excited for him but now I don't feel as excited as I was. I am a little sad I know this will pass and I know he is ready I just think it is a natural mommy thing to have these feelings. As for Chase he walked in about 9:15 to tell me that he couldn't fall asleep and that he had already counted 100 sheep and 100 dogs. So after a minute of talking to me and me loving on him he was able to go to sleep. He is now showing signs of nervousness which is natural. As for Carter I don't think he really realizes that he is going without mom or dad to school. What am I going to do when Mikey and Lily head off the Kindergarten? I don't want to think about it!

So Happy First Day to everyone and look for the first day of school videos tomorrow.

Only 1 day left!

Oh Gosh there is only one day left of summer and I am getting sad. I am one tired mommy from having 4 with me on a daily basis. We have had fun and I will never get that time back so I am glad I am able to be home with them. I have getting the boys geared up for school. Last night we met Carter's wonderful Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Webb. She is going to be so good with him and I know her from my teaching days so I am very comfortable with him being with her. She Rocks!

Eddie will take Chase in the morning and I might tag along but Daddy is going to handle the ropes and then head over to Dr. T's office for the flu mist for both boys. We don't want the flu germs! We are a great team and have been getting things figured out with our 4. We divide and Conquer!

Mikey and Lily are doing tons of sign language and talking tons!! Lily is just our Diva Doll and Mikey is just as sweet as can be. He is definitely Chase's clone. We take them in on Wednesday for their 15 month check up I am excited to see how much Mikey weighs he seems to be packing it on. LOL!

Pics to come I promise!

Cutting it Close!!!

It has been a while since I have blogged. We have been enjoying the last weeks of summer together. As much as I want to send the boys back to school there is a little something inside me that wants them to stay with me forever. Call me CRAZY I know but sending them to school means that they are a year older , a year wiser and year closer to leaving MOM. I want my babies to stay babies so badly but in the real world they have to grow up. I guess I still have several years before Mikey and Lily begin the journey away from Mom. So with all of the sadness in me there is happiness. Knowing that my children are going to learn so much and grow at school meeting new friends and teachers and loving every moment. We have 7 week days left until they have to officially hold there back packs and lunch kits and wave good bye to the sad mom as they board the bus for there First Day of school. We will be enjoying these last few days having fun.

So on the Mikey and Lily Kate. Well they are both moving and have been and they are exploring and exploring. We have to shut doors, lock cabinets and hide anything important b/c 2 sets of hands are quicker than one set. So I finally decided that is was time to wean them from the bottle. They have been ready for sometime and we took it away but I gave it back in a weak moment so TODAY they shall never have a BOTTLE Again. My sweet babies are growing up and Dr. T said we had to have them weaned by 15 months we will turn 15 months in 3 days. So we are CUTTING CLOSE!

I know there aren't any pics but hopefully tomorrow I will post some of the last few weeks.
